Thai customs with which visitors should be concerned.
1. Thai people hold their King and Queen and the Royal Family in great reverence, so don't show disrespect to them.
2. Buddha images are held sacred.
3. Take your shoes off before going inside the hall of worship or the inner buildings in temples. Dress neatly ; mini-skirts and shorts are not allowed.
4. Ladies must not touch a Buddhist monk, give anything directly to him,or receive things directly from him.
5. The head is regarded as the noble part of the body. A sincere apology should be offered immediately if you touch someone's head unintentionally.
6. Bathing nude at beaches in Thailand is prohibited.
7. You are expected to remove your shoes before entering a Thai house.
8. Intimacies between men and women should not be show in public.
9. Don't point your feet at people or things.
