In the holidays after New Year festival in 2009. We went to Chiang Rai 3 days by bus. It is about 10 hour. from Mo chit 2 Bus Terminal. We start from 8 p.m. We arrived Chiang Rai about 6.30 a.m. in the morning. " It was perfect at that time " We rent a car for travel in Chiang Rai. First , we visit Wat Rong Khun about 11 kilometres from Chiang Rai. This temple is designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat in modern Lanna Style. Is white colored decorated with refleeted glass. The paintings inside the temple about the world suffering. There are very beautiful. After that we went to Khun Korn National Park and Waterfall. This trip we stay at Rai Phu Far Resort. We take dinner and relax at resort.
We wake up early morning about 4 a.m. Today we just went to visit Phu Chi Fa for seen the sun.(Mountain Pointing towards the Sky) offers scenic view points. After that we went to Doi Mae Salong earns its nickname " Little Switzerland " becauge of the mountainous panoramas. Try the Yunnan-style food and Oolong tea here!!
